Czech Presidency of the EU and Cooperation in Security Area

The Czech Republic will be presiding over the meetings of EU-27 between January and June 2009. Its motto is Europe without barriers and one of its priorities is the EU enlargement and integration of the Southeast European countries including Serbia, and the integration of these countries to Euro-Atlantic structures.

Except for the presidency the Czech Republic got the status of NATO Contact Point in Serbia, and will thus be representing NATO in Serbia for following two years. What can Serbia expect? What are the priorities of Czech presidency and what will be the impact on Serbia? What are the targets of Czech embassy being the NATO Contact Point in Serbia? These are only some of the questions, which were  raised during this meeting.
